We are proud to be the world's largest freesia grower and one of the few specialist growers still cultivating this fragrant and refined product in all its glory. Our freesias are renowned for their intense fragrance, rich colors, and long shelf life. We grow them in Poeldijk and in Spain, where we deliver top quality all year round.

In addition, we also grow exclusive orchids, with production locations in Poeldijk, Monster, and a growing international network.

What are you going to do?

As Freesia Operations Manager, you will be active on the work floor every day, working with your colleagues to ensure an efficient and high-quality cultivation process. You will supervise colleagues, monitor the progress of the work, and identify opportunities for improvement. In this role, you will work closely with the cultivation and sales departments and have the opportunity to travel to our nurseries in Spain, in consultation with your manager.

Your duties will include:

• Participating in and supervising the cultivation of freesias
• Managing and supporting colleagues in the workplace
• Drawing up and monitoring production schedules
• Consulting with other departments such as cultivation and sales
• Identifying areas for improvement and contributing ideas for solutions
